The location with a panoramic view of the Kamo River is breathtaking! Kyoto's only yakiniku restaurant with a riverside terrace.
Located near Keihan Sanjo Station and Kyoto City Hall Station, "Kyoto Yakiniku Hiro Sanjo Kiyamachi Store" is the second branch of Yakiniku Hiro, situated on the site of a long-established ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) where loyalist samurai once frequented.
As you enter the restaurant, passing through a cobblestone alleyway that evokes the spirit of the Meiji Restoration and the charm of Kyoto, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking location with a magnificent night view of the Kamo River stretching across the windows, and the spacious interior with its high ceilings also offers a great sense of openness.
It's easily accessible from Kawaramachi Street, making it perfect for dates or anniversary celebrations with your loved one.
Every year from May to September, riverside terrace seating is set up, and the restaurant is known as the only place in Kyoto where you can enjoy yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) on a riverside terrace overlooking the Kamo River.
(Due to popular demand, this year's event has been extended until Thursday, October 15th.)
The signature dish at the Sanjo Kiyamachi branch is the "Tonight Only Platter," a luxurious selection of the finest cuts of meat chosen by the head chef each day!
Of course, when we purchase whole cows of Japanese Black Wagyu beef, we only buy those that we have carefully selected, including feed and fattening methods, while maintaining close relationships with the producers, so you can enjoy safe and high-quality Japanese Black Wagyu beef, or Hiro Beef.
Enjoy a unique yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) experience that can only be found in Kyoto, while feeling the changing seasons.
