Enjoy a blissful moment in a historic building in Kyoto's Yasaka district.
Hiro's fifth store is located in a corner of Yasaka Street, lined with historic Japanese houses.
The Yasaka Residence is a grand mansion built in the early Showa period by a wealthy merchant who made his fortune selling a traditional Japanese and Chinese medicine called "Rokuseimaru."
After the war, it came into the possession of Shochiku Pictures, and during the golden age of Japanese cinema, it is said to have been a place of lodging for film directors and stars who graced the silver screen while filming in Kyoto.
In addition to the lavish architectural techniques, the vast Japanese garden, spanning approximately 100 tsubo (about 330 square meters), which changes its appearance with each season, is also a major attraction.
In business settings, it can also be used for entertaining important clients.
