Located on Yasaka Street, lined with historic Japanese houses and Kenninji Temple, "Kyoto Yakiniku Hiro Yasaka Residence" is housed in a grand mansion built in the early Showa period by a wealthy merchant who made his fortune selling a traditional Japanese medicine called "Rokuseimaru."
After the war, it came into the possession of Shochiku Pictures, and during the golden age of Japanese cinema, it is said to have been a place of lodging for film directors and stars who graced the silver screen while filming in Kyoto.
In addition to the lavish architectural techniques, the vast Japanese garden, spanning approximately 100 tsubo (about 330 square meters), which changes its appearance with each season, is also breathtaking.
The cuisine offered at Yasaka-tei is a course called "Kyoto Yakiniku Kaiseki," which is a fusion of traditional Kyoto cuisine and the finest Wagyu beef yakiniku. Among them, the recommended course is the "Kodaiji Kaiseki," which uses seasonal ingredients and Wagyu beef to its fullest.
In a luxurious and exclusive setting at the foot of Yasaka Pagoda, you can fully enjoy a variety of exquisite dishes created by the finest quality Japanese Black Wagyu beef and Kyoto cuisine.
